In 1971, Snake River Truck, was began by David Huntting, President and Dennis Huntting co-owner and partner . Together they provide quality A.R.E. truck caps, commercial units and accessories to the Northwest, a privilege that up until now had only been enjoyed by our mid-western and eastern counterparts.

For over 30 years, A.R.E. has been in the business of producing the highest quality caps available (see web site www.4are.com). The mission statement for A.R.E says it all, "To be the highest quality producer, the finest service organization, and the leading innovator in all our business endeavors."

In 2007 Snake River Truck was purchased by Kelly & Theresa McDonald. SRT has been retooled and is in the process of becoming Snake River Truck & Performance.
